Detailed description of Maple Meadows Golf Course, Nine Hole
Maple Meadows Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole facility located in Wood Dale, Illinois. The facility has the Maple Meadows Eighteen (18) Hole Course and the Maple Meadows Nine (9) Hole Course.
The the Maple Meadows Eighteen (18) Hole Course opened in 1991. The Maple Meadows Nine (9) Hole Course opened in 1929.
The Eighteen Hole Course is links and prairie in design with heavy rough. The greens are large and very well maintained. There are eleven ponds that come into play on all eighteen holes. The traditional Nine Hole Course retains its parkland charm from its heritage as part of the former Brookwood Country Club. The Nine Hole Course has several ponds that come into play on eight holes, as well as a creek that meanders through the layout. The fairways are wooded. The greens are fast and well bunkered.

The the Maple Meadows Nine (9) Hole Course measuress 2,849 yards from the back tees and plays to a par 34.

This has been a long time favorite course of mine. I have not played here in about 4 years, it really looks like they are hurting and have not put much $$ into the course. Possibly more attention is being given to the 18 holes across the street.
